  THIS IS ARU. I KEPT MY TWO DOGS LAST YEAR IN SOLAR LODGE KENNELS AND MY BOTH DOGS GOT WORST TICKS FOR WHICH I PAID 700 AUD TO VET. THE OWNER DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE MY CONCERN WHEN I TOLD HER THAT MY BOTH THE DOGS HAVE SUFFERED FROM TICKS AND ON THE CONTRARY SHE REMAINED BLUNT WITH THE NEWS AND DID NOT BOTHER TO GIVE ME CALL BACK AND FIND OUT HOW MY DOGS WERE DOING AFTER THAT BAD INFECTION...I RECOMMEND NOT TO KEEP YOUR DOGS IN THIS KENNEL BOARDING .... VERY WORST EXPERINECE ...

  Solar Lodge have looked after my 2 dogs a few times now and they're looking after them again in a few weeks time. They also look after my parents dog a few times per year. We've always been satisfied with their level of care. My parents went away for 4 weeks and Solar Lodge took care of their dog, and they were more than happy for me to come and visit her a couple of times to make sure she was happy and being well looked after. The pens the dogs are in are clean and don't have a "dog" smell, and they have plenty of space to run to exercise. My dog is quite anxious and doesn't get along with other dogs other than our dog so they're happy to accommodate her and let her out to exercise just with our other dog. The only downside is the dogs get fed so well while they're there, they come home very fussy and turn their nose up at their regular dry dog food for a few weeks!
